Callout 007 Filed against a pack that lies with an equals sign
Bounty (mega-roll package math)
Bounty, Stop Saying 4 Equals 6
Four rolls equal six. Eight equal twenty-four. The towels wipe counters. The packaging wipes out arithmetic and calls it a value proposition.

01 / The accusation
Bounty, your equals sign needs to be fired.
The paper works. The math is cosplay. Four mega equals six regular. Eight equals whatever bigger number makes the shelf tag look like a steal. "Regular roll" is a ghost unit, a folklore creature, a thing nobody has purchased since gas was a dollar and packaging still told the truth.
The whole aisle is in on it. Bounty is just loudest about it. Print how many rolls are in the pack. Print sheets. Print size. Stop drafting shoppers into a conversion ritual for a fictional roll that exists to make 4 look like 6 and 8 look like a timeshare.
Observed behavior
Six stages of aisle brain damage
- 01
You meet a pack that says 4 = 6 like it just solved world peace.
- 02
Two feet over: 8 Mega = 12 Regular. Or 24. Or a number marketing dreamed up after lunch.
- 03
You try to compare price per sheet and feel your soul leave through the produce misters.
- 04
Your phone calculator comes out. People walk past. You are now the aisle's unpaid accountant.
- 05
You buy the pack with the juicier fantasy number because resistance is expensive and you're tired.
- 06
Home: open the plastic. Count the rolls. Reality shows up late and uninvited. Shocking: six is six.
03 / Independent proposal
We counted the rolls because Bounty wouldn't.
Front of pack leads with how many rolls are actually inside, then sheets and ply. Six means six. No mega-to-regular conversion chart moonlighting as honesty.
Speculative concept, not a Bounty or Procter & Gamble product, endorsement, or plan. Nobody at Bounty asked. Anyone crying next to the paper towels already did.

04 / Add your name
Tell Bounty to put the calculator down.
We don't need our exact label. We need the big number to mean rolls in the bag. Sheets and ply can ride shotgun. Stop making grocery shopping a word problem with a marketing answer key.

Tell Bounty to stop the 4 = 6 package math and put the real roll count on the front.
